What is As Luck Would Have It about?
Lindsey Johnson (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) is sent to a coastal town in Ireland for work, tasked with acquiring a valuable piece of land to develop into a hotel resort. The only catch is the 14th-century castle on the property that is managed by the town council—and they won’t sell to anyone who wants to tear it down. Enter Brennan O’Brien (Allen Leech), a handsome councilman and local whiskey distiller, who is most emphatic about not selling the castle. While there, the town’s annual, world-renowned matchmaking festival filled with local activities is taking place and Lindsey, seeing an opportunity to prove her investment in the town signs up to be matched, even though the last thing she’s looking for is a love connection. After nonstop days of various festival activities, Lindsey finds herself falling for the town as well as for Brennan. Now committed to saving the castle, her career and a new chance at love, Lindsey will need more than just a little luck.
