Teigen, 36, who initially opened up about losing her previous pregnancy due to a miscarriage at 20 weeks, revealed earlier this week that she actually had an abortion, which saved her life after they learned their baby would not survive as a result of partial placental abruption. But after coming forward with her story, the cookbook author received an avalanche of hateful messages from trolls shaming her for the impossible decisions she was forced to make during her 2020 pregnancy. Teigen tweeted a screenshot of some of the ruthless messages, which she said were found in the comments section of a Glamour article. “Sorry you lost your child but stop milking that story,” one harsh comment read. “Pple lying about miscarriages and abortions now? Smh,” another reader added. But Teigen—who has previously been open about her healing journey since losing her son—didn’t seem to be surprised or torn down by the hate comments. “I knew this would happen, and honestly I’ve already seen you do your worst so if this makes you feel better, great. It doesn’t make me feel worse though,” Teigen wrote alongside the hate comments, which she called “brutal” in another tweet. While some users accused the Chrissy’s Court alum of using her personal tragedy for clout, others berated her for not coming forward with the real story sooner, despite Teigen’s previous statement that she didn’t even realize her situation was considered abortion care until over a year later, after the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Teigen and Legend are currently expecting a rainbow baby after the loss of their son Jack two years ago. They are also parents to 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles. More News:
