Just a couple of short days ago, TikToker @lanbanan0 posted a video explaining how she’s been bringing tiny duck figurines into her office and leaving them on her colleagues’ desks at random. But one day she showed up to work to find two large ducks had been placed in her office. As the office prank master, she was understandably confused. Everyone else in the office thought she had staged the ducks in her own office, so she had to hunt down the culprit. Turns out, the CEO of the company (named Jason) was to blame for the new additions! “I cornered him in the kitchen, and I was like, ‘Did you bring in the big ducks?” and he was like, ‘Did you bring in the mini ducks?’ and then I was like, ‘As a matter of fact, I did,’ and he’s like, ‘Well as a matter of fact, I don’t like not being included.’ He has a fear of missing out, so he had to one up," she said. To get back at him, she decided to bring in a four-foot-tall inflatable duck, but he one-upped himself before she had the chance, lining her entire workspace and then some with rubber ducks. “Real life Michael Scott! I love this! 😂😂😂,” one user wrote. “Don’t know your ceo, but whoever they are, I like them,” said another. “This is such a great work environment I’m here for it 😂,” one pointed out. “I need the big 4ft duck footage ASAP,” another begged, and the prank expert was quick to deliver. She shared a quick clip of the blown-up duck wearing company PPE next, revealing that others in the office had been moving it around all day making it difficult to locate. “are you hiring?” one user wanted to know. “i have so many ducks 😂” She followed up again, after getting permission to name drop, to share details about the company, Gateway Engineers, located in Pittsburgh (and yes, they’re hiring!), and answer frequent questions from the comments. She also teased more DuckTok content in the future—perhaps a CEO reveal?—before dropping a revenge video. She brought her boyfriend along for the after-hours ride, sneaking into the office with several giant bags full of ducks. There were over 450 altogether, which were borrowed from the swim team that she coaches, and they lined them up all over one workspace in particular (assumedly the CEO’s). “I don’t even know how to capture the true essence of what we’ve done here,” she said before the big reveal, which also included an apparent hostage scenario involving the inflatable duck from the last prank and a team of ducks retreating from enemy forces. She then explained that they went for a war theme for their prank war. “All of the ducks there in the corner are the ducks that Jason brought in, including those bigger-sized ducks. And then we are interrogating the other one in the background there and we have the cavalry, the infantry, and the artillery,” she said. It took them just over an hour to set up the impressive display. A note left for Jason read, “You opened up the gateway for fowl play.. your move…” Now all that’s left to do is wait and see how Jason reacts. More Pop Culture:
