The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Boston on Wednesday afternoon for a three-day trip that will culminate Friday night at the star-studded Earthshot Awards. The visit—although not an official royal tour—is the couple’s first time in the U.S. since their trip to New York in 2014 and whirlwind tour to California shortly after their marriage in 2011. In honor of their visit and the formal kickoff of the city’s Earthshot celebrations, the city is illuminating many civic buildings and other landmarks in green.
