Meloni, 61, looked dapper in a tuxedo and bow tie. While speaking with E! on the red carpet, the pair revealed that they “never” get tired of each other, despite working together for nearly 25 years. “I love him and I’ve never gotten sick of him,” Hargitay said, according to Today. Meloni and Hargitay were also asked if their characters on the beloved crime show, Capt. Olivia Benson and Detective Elliot Stable, respectively, would ever get together. “You want the tea, baby? Hargitay quipped, after she and Meloni smiled at each other, adding, “Sweetheart, get in line!” “That’s the most expensive tea you’ll ever buy,” Meloni chimed in. During the award show on Monday night, Hargitay and Meloni also presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, where they played on their undeniable chemistry on their show while pretending to lean in for a kiss. It appeared to be just a joke though, as both the actors are married; Hargitay recently celebrated 18 anniversary with Peter Hermann, while Meloni has been married to production designer Sherman Williams for 27 years.
