It happened in June of 2022, when the Sydney Morning Herald’s gossip columnist Andrew Hornery contacted Wilson, giving her two days to comment on the relationship—which until that time had been kept private—before he would go ahead and publish the story.  Wilson neglected to respond and was forced to come out before she and Agruma were ready. In response to her Instagram announcement about the relationship, Hornery went ahead and published the column—which has since been deleted—where he said it was a “big mistake” to have reached out for comment, since Wilson “gazumped” his big break.  While the actress made a brief comment at the time via Twitter, where she thanked another journalist for condemning the newspaper’s actions and said that she was trying to handle the situation with grace, a new Instagram post from this afternoon, Oct. 29, is the first time she’s really addressed it.   Wilson took to the social platform after seeing that the Australian Press Council condemned the Herald’s attempt to out her relationship.  “Just seeing the news that the Australian Press Council has condemned the Sydney Morning Herald and their journalists for their recent grubby behaviour in trying to out my same-sex relationship,” she began the caption.  “And while I didn’t personally ask for any action to be taken I am glad that this has been officially recorded and recognized. Their actions did cause Ramona and I a lot of distress and while we’ve remained classy, there are still pains from having to rush this news publicly which we are dealing with.” But in spite of those pains, the Pitch Perfect alum says that the two are moving on and focusing on the “absolutely amazing new things” in their lives.  “Sending love to everyone 💗,” she signed off, tagging “#loveislove” and the photographer, @lauriebaileyphoto. The statement was shared alongside a photo of the couple at an event of some sort. Wilson, who wore a soft pink dress and shimmery pumps, sat beside a beautifully decorated glass-top table overflowing with cupcakes and other small desserts. Agruma, who wore a white lace maxi dress and a pair of sandals, leaned over Wilson, both smiling for the camera.  The comments were full of support for the happy couple. “Amazing news. No one no matter famous or not should force someone to do or say something before they are ready. 🙌,” one wrote. “While it should always be your choice to share your personal life with others I am so glad to hear of your love. May it help others come to the realization that love is love and they should t be afraid to come forward with their true self. ❤️,” said another. Melanie Griffith shared a series of clapping and heart emojis, while fellow Bella Brittany Snow left several heart-eyed emojis and Orfeh chose to post a combination of hearts and heart-eyed emojis.  More News:
