Paris and Prince attended the award ceremony to show support for the Broadway show, MJ: The Musical, which honors their late father, Michael Jackson. The musical was nominated for a total of 10 Tony Awards, ultimately taking home four, including Best Choreography.The siblings attended the musical’s opening night, which took place at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theatre on February 1, 2022. An insider told PEOPLE that it was Prince’s second time viewing the musical, as he saw a preview for the show on December 11, 2021.
