The Stranger Things star joined Swift at the film festival while the musician discussed her project, All Too Well: The Short Film, in which Sink stars alongside actor Dylan O’Brien. Last month, Swift took home three awards at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards for All Too Well, including Best Longform Video, Best Direction and Video of the Year. “Before this, I had directed and written my music videos, but I had never made a short film before,” the “Lover” singer stated while accepting the award for Best Longform Video. “We put our entire hearts into this, trying to make something that might be worthy of the love that you, the fans, have shown this song.” After winning the most prestigious award of the night, Swift delivered another speech, where she surprised her fans with the announcement of her upcoming new album, Midnights. The Grammy-winner was wearing another sparkly outfit during her appearance at the VMAs on Aug. 28, as she donned a mini dress made of nothing but jewels, sparking many of her fans into thinking that her Midnights era will be full of shiny things.
