The tour kicks off on Sept. 15 in Sioux City, Iowa at the Orpheum Theatre with Mac Dassatti returning as host to serve up a perfectly balanced good time for fans of all ages. “I’m looking forward to being able to see the fans,” 13-year-old Liya from Scarsdale, N.Y., told Parade.com. “Also, since we’re going to 25 different places, it’s going to be a crazy adventure. Getting to see the smile on the faces of the fans because I used to be a fan of MasterChef Junior, and being able to allow the fans to get that happiness and just to see them with smiles, it just makes me happy that I get to do that.” As for Grayson, who is now 14 and hails from Austin, Texas, he is happy to continue his MasterChef Junior journey. “[I am looking forward to] reuniting with my MasterChef Junior castmates and cooking up great new dishes together!,” Grayson says. “I’m also excited to travel and meet other kids who love to cook as much as I do.” The season 8 MasterChef Junior contestants do have a group text set up, so they have been in constant contact since their season wrapped, but they haven’t seen each other in person since the show filmed three years ago. For Springfield, Missouri-native Molly, who will turn 14 before the tour begins, participating is something that will give her the opportunity to “travel to places I haven’t been before, to cook in front of a live audience, to reunite with my friends, and to enjoy the experience.” And finally, 13-year-old A’Dan from Lilburn, Ga., says he is looking forward to heading out because, “I’m looking forward to being a positive influence to other kids. Also, to share my culinary skills and knowledge with them and give fans a good time at the show.”
