She was photographed being driven to the Royal Chapel of All Saints on the Windsor estate to witness the joint baptism of two of her great-grandsons, August Brooksbank andLucas Tindall. The two royal babies were christened using water from the baptismal site of Jesus Christ on the banks of the River Jordan.Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla returned from their brief tour of the Middle East last week with a few new bottles of River Jordan water, which is used in all royal christenings. August is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s 9-month-old son, while Lucas Tindall was born to Zara and Mike Tindall8 months ago. Both sets of parents paid homage to the queen’s late husband by giving each of their babies Philip as a middle name. Prince Philip died at the age of 99 in April. Eugenie’s parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and Zara’s mother Princess Anne, were also in attendance, as were Prince William and Duchess Kate. Royal Chapel of All Saints is also where Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in an intimate ‘pandemic wedding’ in July 2020. Both the queen and Philip were guests at the scaled-back event, while the bride borrowed a vintage dress from the queen for her big day—as well as the diamond tiara that the queen wore on her own wedding day back in 1947. Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed a baby girl to the world on September 18. Her name is Siena Elizabeth, although there’s no word yet on when her own christening ceremony will take place. Lilibet Diana, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s 5-month-old daughter, has also not yet been christened. It is not yet known where the Sussexes hope to christen her at Windsor Castle, like her brother Archie was, or whether they will simply have her baptized in California.
