Today’s Wordle Answer #247: Monday, Feb. 21, 2022
If you need a hint for today’s Wordle solution, look no further. For additional clues, something different, alternative or extra may help. We began with Wordle starting word “HEATS,” inspired by climate change that led to snow two days ago and nearing 60 degrees today. Of course, we also just like those letters: Two common vowels and three common consonants that often are paired with one another. As it turned out, this may be the only good thing to come from global warming (aside from Don’t Look Up). From there, we knew we had H, E and T in play. We next tried out “THERE,” knowing, once more, how repeat letters can often trip up Wordlers (ourselves included). Additionally, we wanted to either put R in play or rule it out, since it’s so commonly used. We snagged an R from “THERE,” and knowing none of the letters were correctly place—and that we only had a single one missing—we simply shifted them all over to the right by one space. We added an O to the front of the word for “OTHER,” and voila! Next, try out these Wordle tips and tricks (including recommended Wordle starting words) to get a leg up on tomorrow’s puzzle!
