The young members of The Music Man’s cast might’ve stolen the show as the members of the band, flipping and dancing across the stage and through the audience, though Jackman and Sutton stunned with their singing and tap dancing as they performed the classic musical number. Alongside The Music Man cast, the 75th Annual Tony Awards host Ariana Debose opened the show with a medley performance honoring past musicals like Cabaret, Rent, and Chicago. The casts of other nominated musicals A Strange Loop, Company, Girl from the North Country, MJ, Mr. Saturday Night, SIX, and Paradise Square also gave wonderful performances throughout the show, while the 2006 Spring Awakening cast reunited on stage as well. The return to Broadway of The Music Man began with preview shows in December 2021, opening to public audiences in early February. Alongside Jackman and Foster, the cast includes Remy Auberjonois and Shuler Hensley, as well as Gino Cosculluela and Emma Crow in their Broadway debuts.
