Who is the killer in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery?
As it turns out, the killer is the most obvious suspect all along: Miles Bron, played by Edward Norton. Netflix One of the clues to the murderer’s identity actually comes early on: Duke Cody (Dave Bautista) recalls how Miles nearly “pancaked him” with his Porsche, but in the context in which the remark was made, it seemed like it just was a near-accident resulting from drinking and partying a bit too hard. (Also, obviously: Never, ever drink and drive!) However, it turns out that Miles nearly ran Duke over when he was speeding away from having just murdered Andi Brand (Janelle Monáe) in her home. Andi’s death was staged as a suicide, but Duke knew as soon as he heard about her death from a Google Alert that Miles murdered her. Duke uses the information to blackmail Miles into boosting Duke’s personal and professional brand (which was hindered by his men’s rights activism). This is why Miles had the motive to kill Duke now. Netflix Duke and Miles are the only people on the island, save for Benoit Blanc, who know that Andi was dead, so that explains why no one else was creeped out or shocked when she appeared, not realizing it was her twin Helen all along.
