Former NFL coach Rex hoped him and his partner Tim would have a winning record when all was said and done. But despite a fair finish in the opening leg, the pair learned the hard way that their Achilles heel was music. Rex’s dyslexia had him struggling in the yodeling Roadblock, and their failure to ace the bell ringing Detour was enough to send them out of the race on a low, clanging note.

After catching up at the Roadblock, they took the lead and never looked back, finishing in first. Glenda and Lumumba Roberts also had a strong leg, netting their second second-place finish. And father/daughter duo Linton and Sharik Atkinson stepped it up with their dance steps, moving into third place.
